Why a Meal Plan?

The main advantage of prepaid meal card is the combination of freedom and control that the Sea Devil card offers.  With our card, you are not locked into a multi-year plan with a set number of meals per month during specific semesters and you do not pay a monthly bill. There are no additional charges for exceeding limits or the costly fees of maxing out a card, just simply reload money from over the phone (910-790-7880) or come in and see one of our cashiers.  Eating more one month and less the next makes no difference, and leftover monies roll over from one month to the next.  You have the freedom to eat whenever you want, as many times as you want, while staying in the area of your next class.  Plus, if you want to change your location from downtown to north campus or visit the restaurant at What’s Cook’n, just 1 mile from North Campus, you have the freedom to use your card wherever you want, 7 days a week.

Meal cards are fast and easy to buy and do not require a contract.  They are available at the registers at both campus cafeterias.  The maximum amount that may be applied to a prepaid meal card is $250, and for a limited time only – if you pay $225 we will max your card to $250…so you or your student will receive $25 free to use on purchases.
