StoryForce Veterans’ Writing Group
Calling all student veterans!
JOIN our veterans’ writing group, StoryForce, to share, explore, and create.
Transitioning from military life – back to home, to family, to work, to college – provides both challenge and opportunity. Come share your stories, explore your own experiences through writing, and create a polished piece of writing for a unique veterans’ publication.
As a StoryForce participant, you will receive:
- An individual writing mentor
- A selection of acclaimed readings
- A built-in community of veteran peers
- A culminating event, Storytelling Celebration and Feast, to share your work and a complimentary meal with family and friends
- A copy of the first StoryForce publication that will include your writing
When and Where:
January 30, 2013 through February 27, 2013
Wednesdays from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Creative Writing Studio, CFCC Wilmington Campus
March 20–Storytelling Celebration and Feast (TBA)
