A HYBRID COURSE consists of a blending of face-to-face class meetings with a portion of the class also being taught on-line. This reduces the number of days a student will meet face-to-face with an Instructor, however, the content of the course remains the same as a traditional. Certain classes will have a portion, or all, of the lecture, OR, similarly, all, or a portion of the lab, taught on-line. Should you be considering a hybrid course, please be aware that a portion of this class will require the student to have access to a computer and the internet. There may be additional fees associated with the purchase of materials necessary to complete the course – please refer to the individual Instructor’s syllabus for further details.
An INTERNET COURSE is a course that is taught completely on-line. Students receive instruction and complete the course using the internet. There are no scheduled face-to-face meetings, however, students may be required to take the final exam in person, or have it proctored at a different location. There may be additional fees associated with the purchase of materials necessary to complete the course – please refer to the individual Instructor’s syllabus for further details.
